The quartet's ramshackle R&B power is unstoppable, charging full force into 2023 after the pandemic lull, with incendiary blues drama, soul and gospel passion, top-notch hip-hop and the visceral electricity of garage punk pulsing through AMEN. The songs were written during sessions in Florida at the end of The Heavy US Tour 2019, initial demos were recorded in the UK in February 2020 and the final album was recorded at Rockfield Studios with producer Tchad Blake (The Black Keys, U2) and engineer Joe Jones (Real World Studios).
