Dragon Fli Empire – Banff Avenue

The superb Banff Avenue EP from Canada's Dragon Fli Emprie was originally released on CD and digital only back in 2020 on DFE's own MakeBelieve Records. While AE was working on releasing the Mr Fantastic Breakdown 7" that features DFE MC Teekay we arranged to release the EP on vinyl. 

Banff, Alberta… a picturesque Western Canadian mountain town, famous for natural beauty, kitschy tourist shops and incredible nightlife. It’s this last attraction that provides the inspiration for Dragon Fli Empire’s newest opus, “Banff Avenue”. The two-man team of DJ Cosm and Tarik Robinson (aka Teekay) return with their first album since 2013’s “Mission Statement” and it’s a purely in-house effort with that 100% DFE formula of thumping, melodic beats by Cosm and Teekay’s smooth and intelligent wordplay. The chilled-out vibes on this album are the perfect musical remedy for the chaotic year that is 2020.
