Akashik Records is honored to announce the debut EP of UK’s own Lynda Dawn.  Sonically crafted/produced by Al Dobson Jr. adorned with Dawn’s incredibly soul healing vocals, At First Light invites us to gaze into the kaleidoscope of her divine universe.  The dazzling single “Move“, previously included on Giles Peterson’s latest edition of Brownswood Bubblers, is just a hint of the funk/soul woven landscape Dawn + Dobson Jr. have elegantly painted on a canvas of dance floor bops like “Fonk Street“ and heartfelt ballads dedicated to her father, “Theme for Cha-Cha“.  Al Dobson’s production lends the perfect accompaniment with brilliant compositions channelled through 70s-80s reminiscent tones of rhodes and fonk synths.  In the spirit of aural togetherness, this magnificent 7-track adventure brings love to the forefront.
