STILL DOING IT - the new EP from The Karpenters featuring Kool Keith - embodies the classic mixtape ethos: clever beats, dusty
samples, seasoned scratches, and guest verses from hip-hop pillars Greg Nice (Nice & Smooth), Sadat X (Brand Nubian), El Da
Sensai (Artifacts), and Ed OG (Ed OG & the Bulldogs) to compliment Kool Keith’s ever-eccentric flow. LA-based DJ/producer Grant
Shapiro handles the sonic landscape, bringing out the best in Kool Keith’s lyrcial abilities. The jump off cut “John Carpenter” sets the
tone for this collab, a manifestation of break beats and synths reminiscent of classic Wu Tang production, but with its own unique
