The Dissent’s hypnotic Ghost Town-stylee re-working of the Jungle Book tune ‘Trust in Me’ drips with righteous rage and venomous sarcasm about certain forked-tongued, Brexshit politicians (Trust in May?) and where they’re taking us.

Is it a Mayday Mayday message – a call for help? Or is it a call to arms? Maybe it’s both. Released as a vinyl 12” single (33 revolutions per minute!), Ramrock Records are rushing it to radio ahead of schedule to lend the voice of The Dissent to the run-up to disMay on the 8th June.

Who are The Dissent?
This fairly anonymous, yet eclectic collective comprises members of Trip Hop instigators and early Ashley Beedle collaborators Marden Hill, Hedkandi Acid Loungers 45 Dip, Goldliner and Big Beat supremos Beamish & Fly along with ad hoc contributions from various well-known street artists, writers and painters whose names we’re not at liberty to divulge.
