After a big handful of releases on such fantastic labels as Mr. Saturday Night, Discos Capablanca, Holic Trax and 1080p, Keita Sano (year of construction: 1989, modus operandi: old school to the max, base camp: Okayama) now drops this here slab of wax on the brand new Turbocapitalism imprint, featuring four solid dance floor stompers. The slightly eerie opener “Old System” is reminiscent of ye olde Chicago sound, you know, from the unremembered eighties and that. Same goes for the aptly titled “The Inspiration”, with that intoxicating Mr. Fingers sound, and the TB303-laden “I've Got Dreams”. On closing track “We The People” Sano slows down the pace without losing the slightest bit of intensity, throwing in a heavy disco-funk sample.
