Die kreative Zusammenarbeit zwischen Ghost und Blumhouse begann am Abend von Ghosts Headline-Show im LA Forum (November 2018). Im Oktober 2019 lud Blumhouse Tobias Forge ein, das Film-Set von "Halloween Kills" zu besuchen und Regisseur David Gordon Green zu treffen, um einen Eindruck von der Atmosphäre zu gewinnen. Die seit Jahren geplante Zusammenarbeit zwischen Ghost und der berühmten "Halloween" Franchise nimmt nun mit "Hunter's Moon" für den neusten Teil der Michael Myers Saga "Halloween Kills", Gestalt an.
