"As seen on the recent Noisey profile of the new documentary (noisey.vice.com/blog/stretch-bobbito-doc), Stretch & Bobbito's show on Columbia University's radio station played a remarkably influential role in the 90s hip-hop scene. Many artists have expressed this sentiment through songs and interviews, but none have gone quite so far as the OG Aborigines. The group's debut album Rice Krispy Treats is a tribute to the golden years of Stretch & Bobbito's time on the air, and is a testament to the long- lasting appeal of the show. Rice Krispy Treats is an album that will give longtime fans of Stretch & Bobbito a nostalgic kick, and give people just learning about them a chance to catch glimpses of the 89Tec9 experience, through the various audio clips strewn throughout the LP..."
